Leaving Hawaii is always super hard for me. Especi Leaving Hawaii is always super hard for me. Especially leaving my love there too! But I’m stoked to be headed home to my kids , my dog and ready to get back to my people in their Dietas. I’m also very excited to be dropping into the studio this week to create my first meditation series and finish the last chapters of my book. Wohoo to following through. Winter is such a potent time to create. If you feel the winter blues, I encourage you to keep your hands busy. This season is a time to draw, paint, write poetry and make art. It’s a time of rest . A time of dreaming and planting seeds in your psyche and heart. Years ago I committed to not complaining about the cold if I was going to live somewhere with winter. I’m so grateful for that practice as my hands froze looking for my car at the airport today lol. Bless your hearts and lives myfriends. Here we go!
So grateful that after many years of buying medici So grateful that after many years of buying medicines in ways that did not feel in full alignment with my soul. I’m now part of sustainable harvesting practices that are part of all the medicines we make. This is another level of integrity we bring to the work that feels so good to me. I’m so grateful to be in relationship with these medicines in such potent ways. In ways that honor the earth. I know from experience the vibrational difference of using medicines that are not sustainably harvested and made with love and integrity. Many people are rushing to serve these medicines without proper adequate training, skills and also a personal relationship with the plants or even a care about replanting. I know the plants of mama Gaia have a plan and God has a plan, but discernment is a very important tool right now in this psychedelic renaissance. Be wise. Ask questions before you go sit with someone in ceremony. Use your bullshit detector if things don’t feel right. Go by word of mouth and notice the energy of those who recommend the work . Feel with your body and heart when you’re tuning in. This is good for any part of your life. Of course no one is perfect and there are karmas that will pay themselves out. I hired a coach a few years ago because I was so t I hired a coach a few years ago because I was so tired of being broke. 😆  I just got fed up, prayed for the right person, randomly found her on spotify through a song, looked her up and saw she was also a business mentor. Thanks@taradivina!  Joining her group container absolutely accelerated me!! But more than anything I was showing up 100% committed to change. I'd never paid that kind of money to anyone for support. It was a whole new level of self love and investment. One of the things she helped me with actually had to do with attachment theory. " listen Athena I am not going to give you advice on your love life.  But if you want to succeed, you need a secure attachment to your business." "But It's sacred to me." (Plus a lot of my teachers were literally tribal people who barely knew how to use a phone!) "You having more than enough for your family is sacred too." She smiled. Here's the thing. I know what I'm here to do on earth. Many of us on a deep level can feel our soul mission as a feeling, we just can't figure out how to express it at times. Plus marketing funnels are a whole other animal!  Long story short after a ton of resistance. I committed to being securely attached to my work. Inner and outer. Even when I wanted to run off into the jungle away from humans and cel phones.  That year I tripled my income and even purchased a house when I was told by the banks it would take a miracle to do so. All while living my dharma  Even the most meaningful heart centered work ,will have parts that are challenging. But like any spiritual practice you commit to showing up to a bigger version of yourself and your WHY even when you don't feel like it. Business and spirituality must merge if we are going to anchor a new earth. And alot of us are being given soul assignments around this. Which means we have opportunity to clear lifetime patterns around being seen, honored and respected for what we are here to offer. There will always be people that judge you. Totally misread you. Not get you. Keep going and sharing your unique hue of light! Be securely attached to your inner mission It may actually change EVERYTHING. I know It did for me.

Hi my names Athena. I began working with plant me Hi my names Athena. I began working with plant medicines 15 years ago, and in shamanic traditions 19 years ago. I have worked with many different Indigenous wisdom keepers in deep, committed ways. I moved my family to Peru for years, so I could live in a culture rooted to the Earth's medicine. I have traveled on 12 hour riverboats with a baby on my back into the amazon jungle! Think snakes, bugs and river pirates! My house in peru, would often host shipibo grandmothers and Andean pacos. In my practice I have watched countless people heal from abuse, trauma and disease no doctors could reach. But it has not been an easy path! Which is why I roll my eyes when I hear of a 23 year old from the burbs serving ayahuasca after a few months. But I know the earth is smart ,and God is smarter. And I'm over the idea of being right 😆 My dharma here is to help people fall in love with themselves and to return to sources love. I have put in a lot of time and devotion. It's important I don't make myself small, in order to respect this work in itself. But I also am just a super weird messy human. I'm just a regular soccer mom with loud boys that tell inappropriate jokes. I have a strange fear of excel sheets. And Some days are better than others. Yes Many people call me a shaman. But I have never called myself this. After years of studying and practicing with renouned shamans. I realized, I'm not interested in being a shaman. I'm interested in us all seeing we have an inner shaman. An inner epic healer, that will return us to God's heart I have watched too many people in authority misuse their power. But people are in the habit of giving their power away. When you understand the power of your thoughts and emotions. This requires immense responsibility!! Along this journey, I've witnessed extraordinary miracles. I consider her to be one of my dearest beloveds, and I have devoted my life to sharing her wisdom and healing gifts.   When you chat with an old-school elder maestro in the jungle about ayahuasca, he will say ayahuasca is a kind doctor spirit here to help us be well and happy. And I know this to be true.   I'd like to share some profound wisdom she revealed to me during a recent dream journey. In the dream, I walked through a pitch-black void. Though I couldn't see, I was on a path.  Suddenly, I was taken and flooded with the energy of ayahuasca that I know so well.   This time, she appeared as a serpent adorned with emerald green jewels, with a doorway into portals of starlight.   In the dream, I asked her:   “Ayahuasca, I know we are old friends and all, but can you tell me – who are you? Why are you here on Earth? How did you get here?”   I was taken deep into the Earth's core, where I saw a golden heart bursting with light. The heart started to pump and quicken its rhythm until two streams of light emerged. I saw that the light had turned into seeds, and the seeds were the ayahuasca and chacruna plants sprouting in the jungles.   Above, a beautiful star-filled night sky sang the most beautiful melodies. From these songs came starships, and their beams infused the plants with a galactic essence.   “It is a divine agreement that I am here.” Though I couldn't see her face, it seemed she said this with a bit of a chuckle. “It took a lot of love for me to arrive here.
